DOYLESTOWN, PA, October 01, 2010 (Press-News.org) HomeTech Renovations is hosting a course for architects on the use of Alternative Materials for Countertops and work surfaces at our studio in Fort Washington on Tuesday October 12, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. HomeTech Renovations is very excited to be hosting the Workshop for local architects regarding kitchen remodeling and bathroom remodeling. They will be providing a complimentary light breakfast which will start at 9 a.m. followed by the presentation beginning promptly at 9:30 a.m.
After Taking This Course You Will Be Able To...
• Understand the different types of alternative countertops that are available
• Have a general understanding of countertop finishes
• Summarize the care and maintenance of alternative countertop materials
• Identify which type of wood countertop is best used for food preparation
• Understand the utilization of glass as a countertop material
• Understand how concrete countertops are manufactured and the color, texture and design options that are available to clients
• The ability to compare alternative countertop options and successfully identify appropriate uses
