MINNEAPOLIS, MN, October 01, 2010 (Press-News.org) Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Center, the innovative three-dimensional trampoline facility, announced today that it has inked a deal for a Minneapolis-area location that will open its doors to the public December 1. This deal marks Sky Zone's first foray into the state of Minnesota and will be the sixth Sky Zone location nationwide.
Sky Zone Minneapolis will be helmed by local businessman David Hustrulid and his partner Jack Miller. A born and bred Minnesotan, Hustrulid previously owned four Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwich shops throughout the region and has embarked on a new adventure with Sky Zone. Miller is a financial consultant who, spurred on by Hustrulid's enthusiasm, offered to partner with him on this venture. The duo's business acumen gained through years of experience in the Minneapolis market is sure to augment their new careers as Sky Zone franchisees.
Sky Zone is the world's first all-trampoline, walled playing court - a concept so unique it was awarded a U.S. patent. Studies have shown that exercising by bouncing on trampolines is an excellent way to stay in shape for children and adults alike, while still having lots of fun. In addition to fun activities for kids, 3-D Dodgeball and adult fitness classes, Sky Zone is also the perfect location for birthday parties and corporate events.
"We at Sky Zone are excited to expand our reach into a new market," said Jeff Platt, Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Center CEO. "Thus far, our facilities have been a big hit in other parts of the country and we hope that the same will be true for the new Minneapolis area center. We cannot wait for everyone to experience all Sky Zone has to offer."
"I am thrilled to open the first Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Center in Minnesota and introduce a new way of getting active and having fun," said David Hustrulid, Sky Zone Minneapolis franchisee. "I know that once Minneapolis residents come out and jump for the first time they'll be as excited about this new facility as I am."
The new Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Center will be located at 13310 Industrial Park Blvd., Plymouth, MN 55441. The facility will be open 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday (with SkyJam from 10 p.m. to midnight for ages 16 and up) and 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Sky Zone is closed on Monday. For more information on Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Center in general, or to learn more about classes and offerings, please visit http://www.skyzonesports.com.
