HONG KONG, July 03, 2012 (Press-News.org) The Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow is returning to Hong Kong this summer for a series of side-splitting shows.

To be held at the Fringe Club, the show crams a selection of the best acts from the Melbourne International Comedy Festival into a single two-hour performance, running from July 16th to 22nd 2012.

Hong Kong audiences can expect to see hilarious routines from acclaimed comics such as Matt Okine, Ronny Chieng, Damian Callinan and Denise Scott, as well as the outrageous purple puppet Randy.

The roadshow made its Hong Kong debut in 2011 and proved a roaring success, selling out its entire run.

Performances begin each evening at 19:30 local time, with tickets priced between HK$250 and HK$350 (GBP20.70 and GBP28.90).

The show is recommended for audience members aged 15 and over, as the performances are likely to include some strong language and potentially button-pushing material.

A statement from the organisers promises that the roadshow will provide "the best of more than 300 shows squeezed into one".
