ENGLEWOOD, NJ, July 05, 2012 (Press-News.org) One River School of Art and Design, a new direction in creative education, announced its initial program schedule today. The school, opening this summer in Englewood, NJ, will provide a wide array of innovative art, design and digital classes for all ages beginning September 10th.
The programs at One River School have been developed to provide compelling, fun, educational experiences in studio art and digital art / design. Many of the classes operate on a rolling monthly basis that allow for new students to begin at any time, avoiding the challenge of having to sync your schedule with a semester-based program.
One River School's innovative programs are unique for every age, creating the most appropriate experiences possible:
· Art Start @ One River is our progressive child-centered early education program:
o Art Start 1 is the "mommy and me" experience blended with fun art making exercises
• Art Start 2 is for kids ages 3-5 and begins to build independence through fun, creative assignments and hands on instruction
· Art Rocks @ One River is our proprietary, multi disciplinary art program for children grades K-5. The program is broken into two clusters by age segment: Art Rocks 1 is for Grades K-2 and Art Rocks 2 is for Grades 3-5.
· Teen Studio @ One River programs are open to students from 6th-12th grade and offer three types of programs: Teen Art Studio, Teen Digital Studio, and Teen Advanced Art Series.
o The Teen Advanced Art Series is for the most serious, accomplished art students and has been developed to rival the best programs in the world to cultivate excellence and potential career ambition in the visual arts.
· Adult Programs at One River are broken into three different categories: Art, Digital, and Lecture Series.
o Within the Digital program, One River has created an intensive Certificate Program in Graphic Design that provides a comprehensive six-month classroom and project based curriculum-preparing students to gain employment as professional graphic artists.
