Online Degrees Portal Universities.com Allows You to Suggest a Charity for Its Reward Program

Online college degree programs portal Universities.com offers charities and individuals the opportunity to suggest their favorite cause to benefit from its response rewards program.

2012-07-12
NORCROSS, GA, July 12, 2012 (Press-News.org) Online masters degrees and postsecondary degrees portal Universities.com believes giving to charity is important. To this aim, they offer the opportunity for charities and individuals to suggest charities that should benefit from Universities.com's response rewards program.

The response rewards program was created to encourage everyday people to discuss their feelings regarding postsecondary education so that others might be inspired to follow their own higher education dreams. The program offers two different choices as a reward for approved responses: either a free $5 Starbucks or Amazon eGift card or a $10 donation to charity.

To receive the reward money, charities must be a part of the Universities.com reward program approved charities list. If your charity of choice is not included on this list, however, you can easily submit a suggestion that it be included. Each of these suggestions is taken seriously and investigated to determine that the charity in question does meet the necessary requirements to be included in the Universities.com rewards charities list.

"We feel that it's important to offer people the option of giving their response reward to charity," explains Amanda Moses, Operations Manager at Universities.com. "Because we are such fans of charitable giving, we even double the standard reward when our response writers generously donate their rewards. We know that there are always new, worthy charities coming into existence, so we offer the opportunity for individuals and charities themselves to submit organizations to our approved charity list so that we can offer a more complete list."
