The report confirms that natural gas has broken the record set by coal--that is, that power plants fueled by natural gas have produced as much energy as those plants that are fueled by coal. According to Gremillion, however, natural gas is advantageous for many different reasons. "Some say that natural gas is a bridge fuel, a stopgag until something better comes along, but that's not the view that we hold at ILG Energy," he explains.
