JACKSONVILLE, FL, July 13, 2012 (Press-News.org) Tax Defense Network understands that in order to serve clients to the fullest, it needs the best and most qualified team of tax professionals on staff. That is why Tax Defense Network established its Foxhound legal department.
The term Foxhound was created to reference the traits you find in a loyal, brave, and aggressive companion when hunting, such as a foxhound," Jason Agate, a tax analyst at Tax Defense Network explains.
Tax Defense Network believes its legal department is the fearless leader that its clients need when negotiating with the IRS. Foxhound consists of the tax analysts, certified, and legal professionals that negotiate resolutions with the IRS. In total, Foxhound has approximately 50 tax professionals, including eight attorneys, with a combined experience of 125 years in the tax industry, all led by Senior Tax Attorney Jonathan Bochese.
Jonathan Bochese explains that his "primary role as Senior Tax Attorney is to ensure that we are all fighting to get our clients into the best resolution possible."
Jonathan Bochese came to Tax Defense Network in February 2009 as a member of the Florida Bar Association, becoming an authorized tax professional under Circular 230. Jonathan Bochese was promoted to Senior Tax Attorney in April 2012 after displaying expert skills in IRS negotiations.
"The discussions with the IRS often get heated. A lot of times, there are arguments about what a client can or can't afford. The IRS always wants people to pay more. We want to make sure that the client is paying as little as possible and that they can afford life's necessities," Jonathan stated in between calls with IRS agents.
Tax Defense Network now consults over 4000 cases per month, making Foxhound the fastest growing department within the company.
"In order to handle the increasing volume of taxpayers seeking help from Tax Defense Network, Foxhound has had to expand," says Erin Bailey of Human Resources.
Foxhound keeps its mantra engraved on a plaque hanging on the wall that Jonathan Bochese says gives the entire department inspiration. The plaque reads, Foxhound: Protective, Loyal, & Brave. The Perfect Hunter.
"That pretty much says it all," Jonathan Bochese states, "we are who taxpayers need when going against the IRS."

Inadequate Security In NYC Buildings Is A Big Problem In Summer
2012-07-13
Although most New Yorkers welcome summer, the warmer weather also correlates with a rise in crime. School-age teenagers are on break from school and people spend more time outdoors, perhaps explaining why New York City experiences increased violence in the summer. Still, much of the crime is preventable when landlords take basic precautions.
One such preventable crime recently occurred in upper Manhattan. A 14-year-old girl suffered an attempted sexual assault in an apartment building stairwell in Inwood. Fortunately, she was able to fight off the attacker. While this ...
