2012-07-13
JUPITER, FL, July 13, 2012 (Press-News.org) DMG Productions announced today that they will be releasing a three-part series of their hit show Business Update, to focus on the world of information technology.

"IT, or information technology, is a field that we are all familiar with today," said Mike Stratos, producer for the series. "The rise of the smartphone, wireless internet and seamless data sharing has created an exciting industry that is only beginning to realize its potential."

In this series, Business Update viewers will be taken on an in-depth tour of the information technology industry: from software development and intellectual property, to identity theft protection, Business Update is set to explore IT like never before.

"In today's world, if you don't have technology, you don't have a business," said Dr. Barbara Rembiesa, CEO of IAITAM, or the International Association of IT Asset Managers. "If you're not managing that technology, then you're not managing your business."

"Despite the incredible rise in the usage of computers for home and business, many people today still take technology for granted," said Vince Moss, creative director for DMG Productions. "Business Update: Exploring IT will show Discovery Channel audiences just how important information technology is to modern society."
