Dexter Industries Releases iPhone and iPad Control for MINDSTORMS NXT

First Wifi sensor for the LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT now controls the Apple iOS Devices

WASHINGTON, DC, July 14, 2012 (Press-News.org) After months of software and hardware development, Dexter Industries releases its much anticipated iPad and iPhone control of the LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT system. By using the first-ever WiFi Sensor and software created by Dexter Industries, robots can now be dynamically controlled by a webpage from a browser on a laptop, computer, smart-phone, or tablet device.

This week Dexter Industries releases software for the NXT that allows it to be directly controlled by Apple devices such as the iPad, iPhone, and Macbook. Previously, these devices were not able to control the LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT. With the new software released by Dexter Industries, users of the popular robot-building kit are able to control the system with iOS devices.

Dexter Industries also released software that allows users to control LEGO NXT robots with the Chrome, Firefox, and Opera web browsers.

The Dexter Industries WiFi Sensor connects the LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT to the Internet and other wireless devices as well. The sensor can communicate information on LEGO robots to web browsers and even popular websites, such as Twitter.
