PerDM Drive Outsourcing Trend in UK

Outsourced Field Marketing Firm PerDM observe the demand for outsourcing in the UK increase as businesses focus on reducing costs and gain more control of their finances.

2012-07-16
CHESTER, ENGLAND, July 16, 2012 (Press-News.org) Ernst & Young conducted a European Outsourcing Survey which reveals over 70% of businesses throughout Europe outsource some form of business operation. PerDM agree that although many businesses have been outsourcing portions of their work for years, the recession certainly increased the demand for outsourcing as many businesses tried to reduce costs where possible. Cost reduction continues to be the key driver for outsourcing, but PerDM recognise financial flexibility as a factor that is becoming more important.

The PerDM group of companies are a leading outsourced field marketing provider who have observed outsourcing in the UK reach new heights over the past 4 years. 'More businesses are recognising outsourcing as a key business tool. Our clients certainly appreciate the flexibility that outsourcing provides. Knowing they have the option to increase performance when needed or reduce operations when at high capacity is viewed very positively. Financial flexibility in the current economic climate is of high importance to many businesses' adds Ian Attwood, Director at PerDM.

PerDM provides a flexible, scalable and highly cost-effective outsourcing solution that can be deployed as a simple extension of, or complement to, a client's existing field marketing or sales team. Additionally where a business does not possess such a team then PerDM is able to fulfil that function. PerDM recently reported that outsourcing can reduce services costs by up to 60%, a very appealing for many business executives.

Many businesses choose outsourcing to PerDM as the most efficient way of transforming the delivery of key business processes such as customer acquisitions, customer retention, product promotion and product utilisation efforts. This allows the business to concentrate on core business activities and become more agile in increasingly challenging markets.

PerDM agree if outsourcing continues to create more flexible service levels and improve cash flow through more flexible financial models then it will be a trend that will stick and become an essential business tool.
