Leahy to Co-Chair Scout Fundraising Efforts
Ryan Leahy will serve as Co-Chair of the Capitol Area Council, Boy Scouts of America's 2012 Sporting Clays Shoot at Texas Disposal Systems' Exotic Game Ranch.

The Capitol Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, is pleased to announce that Ryan Leahy will serve as Co-Chair of the 2012 Sporting Clays Shoot at Texas Disposal Systems' Exotic Game Ranch.Leahy, a Partner in Cornerstone Mortgage's Leahy and Associates, will have a critical role in helping the oldest Sporting Clays Shoot in the Austin area raise the money necessary to support Scouting programs in 15 Central Texas counties. Last year, the event raised more than $115,000 that helped fund youth camping and training events benefitting more than 24,000 Scouts and their families.
"We are going to put on a fun-filled shooting event," says Leahy. "It will include a clays tournament and a flurry tournament, while also delivering a great atmosphere for networking with some of Austin's best and brightest."
The 2012 Capitol Area Council Sporting Clays Shoot will take place November 1, 2012, at Texas Disposal Systems' Exotic Game Ranch, 3606 FM 1327, in Creedmoor. Shooting teams of five people are available for $1,250 if purchased prior to September 15, 2012. Afterwards, shooting teams will be available for $1,500 each.
