LAS VEGAS, NV, October 02, 2010 (Press-News.org) All Capriotti's Sandwich Shop locations in the greater Las Vegas area will do their part to honor National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a "Save the Bobbies !" initiative that will run throughout the month of October . To show their support, Capriotti's will donate 25 cents from each purchase of their signature sandwich, The Bobbie , to Susan G. Komen for the Cure . To further represent Capriotti's commitment to the cause, all Bobbie sandwiches (homemade turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and mayo on a delicious sub roll) will be wrapped in pink paper instead of the traditional dunnage to incorporate Breast Cancer Awareness Month's signature color and make a noticeable statement.
One of Capriotti's Core Values is "Family - Care About People" and this philosophy is evident in the creation of the "Save the Bobbies !" program. By donating to an organization that affects so many Americans, Capriotti's is truly living up to this important tenet. Susan G. Komen for the Cure is, the world's largest network of breast cancer survivors and activists. They work tirelessly to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and, above all else, find the cure.
"Capriotti's is always dedicated to finding new avenues for charitable outreach," said Ashley Morris, Capriotti's CEO. "Many members of our team have seen the effects of breast cancer through their family and friends, so donating to Susan G. Komen for the Cure was a natural choice. Susan G. Komen for the Cure is an incredible organization that is the gold standard in breast cancer research and education initiatives and we are glad to join in the fight."
Capriotti's "Save the Bobbies !" initiative begins October 1 and concludes October 31 at all Las Vegas-area restaurants.
