Tax Defense Network: Interesting Past Worth Knowing

Tax Defense Network began its expansion to help serve taxpayers nationwide in 2007, with great success for the company and its clients.

2012-07-20
JACKSONVILLE, FL, July 20, 2012 (Press-News.org) Tax Defense Network, incorporated since 1997, began its expansion to help serve taxpayers nationwide in 2007. Tax Defense Network moved into a 24,000 square foot Class A facility, and hired several new tax professionals, including tax attorneys, enrolled agents, and CPAs to handle the volume of taxpayers seeking Tax Defense Network's services. This expansion was met with great success for Tax Defense Network and its clients, because the company could now serve more taxpayers more efficiently.

Mark, of Montana, became a client of Tax Defense Network in 2011. He was unfiled since 1997 and self-employed. Mark was behind on his estimated tax filings, and facing a tax debt of $506,000, a bank levy on his account, and a Revenue Officer. This was not going to be an easy task for Tax Defense Network.

First, Mark's tax prep team at Tax Defense Network filed all of his taxes for the years he was in non-compliance. Then Mark's legal team in Tax Defense Network's Foxhound division thoroughly reviewed his finances, work documents, assets, and investments in order to find the most affordable amount Mark could pay on his tax debt.

The attorneys at Tax Defense Network submitted a proposal to the IRS that would take Mark out of collections, release the Revenue Officer from his case, and put him in a contractual agreement with the IRS. The IRS accepted the proposal the attorneys at Tax Defense Network drafted, putting Mark into an Installment Agreement of $200 per month until the Statute of Limitations expires. This agreement worked in Mark's favor, having him pay roughly 4.2 percent of his total tax debt at the end of the contract.

"Wow! That's a pretty cool deal," Mark exclaimed as a tax analyst from Tax Defense Network called him to explain the resolution reached. "I appreciate the work you guys have done. Thank you."

Tax Defense Network knows every case is different and needs to be analyzed thoroughly to find the best resolution possible for every client. The company began its expansion with the goal of helping not just taxpayers in Florida, but anywhere in the US. Mark's story proves that Tax Defense Network reached its goal, successfully assisting taxpayers nationwide as if they were local residents.
