The best lawn ornament in the form of donkey statue or elephant statue is the big question for event planners this summer. The donkey represents the Democratic party. The elephant represents the Republican Party.

CULVER, IN, July 21, 2012 (Press-News.org) The most popular statues of the 2012 political season may be found here at http://www.lawnornamentsandfountains.com/lawnornamentsandfountains/Do ... ments.html

The best lawn ornament in the form of donkey statue or elephant statue is the big question for event planners this summer. We are in the midst of the 2012 political season. The two main parties in the USA are deep in debate over who has the best ideas to get our country out of the deep slump our economy has inhabited over the past 8 years. It is quite revealing that the average citizen is attempting to survive with a lack of jobs and rising prices while the members of our political system are planning fund raisers and parties with all the trimmings. If you own a business that caters to the needs of event planners and party supporters then you may benefit from the many events that surround the Democrat and Republican convention season.

In the lawn ornament industry we see trends depending on the season or holiday of the moment. It seems if a particular statue or fountain is in fashion then everyone wants to purchase the exact same ornament to adorn their home or business. The trend this summer is the perfect statue to display at your summer party or fundraiser to represent the political party of your choice.

The donkey represents the Democratic party. The first presidential candidate to be associated with the donkey was Andrew Jackson during the election of 1828. The donkey of course is known to have the attributes of stubbornness. The cartoonist Thomas Nast a famous cartoonist made the donkey the official symbol of the Democratic party in Harper's Weekly in 1870.

The elephant represents the Republican Party. The elephant known as "one who never forgets" was made the official symbol for the Republican party by Thomas Nast in a cartoon in Harper's Weekly in 1874.

We recommend you place your order in July if you wish to have your statue in time for the convention season in August. Every well planned event needs the perfect mascot to symbolize your party.
