ST. LOUIS, MO, July 26, 2012 (Press-News.org) Portland's recent launch on CityHolistic.com marks the fifth community established on the site, following St. Louis, New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Like its predecessors, the Portland site will include a directory of holistic practitioners, goods, and services as well as blogs, a job board, event board, and helpful hints for leading a holistic life.
While CityHolistic.com staff chose the first four cities, the CityHolistic.com community voted Portland as the newest addition.
"CityHolistic.com really is a community, and we wanted to embrace that by letting our supporters and members decide where to launch next," stated Beth Kessler, Member Services Coordinator. Surveying CityHolistic.com visitors proved to be an effective method for choosing the next city. "We were very pleased with the results of our survey, Portland is known for being a holistic and forward-thinking city."
With more than 900 members and counting, the directory is already growing rapidly. Portland residents will find an array of holistic goods, services, and practitioners, including acupuncturists, naturopaths, and nutritionists.
CityHolistic.com has no intention of slowing down after Portland. Plans are already underway to launch its sixth community in Phoenix. Announcements of this next lunch will be coming soon later this year.
