Atlas Insurance Agency Presents Easter Seals Hawaii's 31st Annual Golf Classic

Easter Seals Hawaii will host their thirty-first Annual Golf Classic on Wednesday, September 12th, 2012.

2012-07-26
HONOLULU, HI, July 26, 2012 (Press-News.org) Easter Seals Hawaii will host their thirty-first Annual Golf Classic on Wednesday, September 12th, 2012. The tournament is presented by Atlas Insurance Agency and will take place at the Hawaii Prince Golf Course, designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay in Ewa Beach.

This event has a long history as one of Hawaii's most-loved charity golf tournaments, and remains a crucial fundraiser for Easter Seals Hawaii. Board Chairman, Mason Williams, said "We are so grateful for the support of the community in making this annual event a fundraising success. Every dollar raised provides critical services for our nearly 5,000 participants statewide."

Mark Bratton, Tournament Committee Chair, emphasized that "In a prolonged era of government cutbacks and deep funding cuts for critically needed services, it is vital that our community step-up to ensure that children and adults who are living with disabilities like autism, cerebral palsy and other special needs throughout our islands continue to have access to the services and programs they need."

Golfers are eligible for a variety of contests including the long-standing tradition of a Hole-In-One car, which continues again this year through the support of The Cutter Family of Cars. Players will have the unique opportunity to win a Cutter automobile on each of the Par 3 holes! Golfers and non-golfers alike can join the fun at Easter Seals Hawaii's FIRST ever Golf Ball Drop. 2,000 lucky golf balls will be dropped for a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas from Vacations Hawaii, a $500 shopping spree at Times Supermarket or a 32" Samsung LED TV. Reserve YOUR lucky Golf Ball today with a $10 donation to Easter Seals Hawaii.
