Pie Minnesota Branch Expands with Tom Peterson, P.E. Addition

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, July 26, 2012

Pie Consulting & Engineering (Pie) today announced that Tom Peterson, P.E. has been named Senior Forensic Engineer to Pie's Minnesota regional office.

Mr. Peterson is a licensed structural engineer with a wide range of expertise including evaluation of retail, commercial, and industrial facilities both as a design engineer, and as a consultant in structural design review and failure analysis. Tom brings more than 34 years of combined experience in the fields of large commercial, industrial, and structural design and failure analysis, as well as rehabilitation structural design. He is a registered professional engineer in 18 states.

Tom has worked on projects throughout the United States and the Caribbean, and has provided emergency response and recommendations on building failures in catastrophe events. In addition to his design experience, he has provided opinions and recommendations for property evaluations and purchases, both new and existing, for corporate clients. He specializes in civil engineering design including site planning, soils, and grading/drainage approaches for land development.
