Updated Hetman Partition Recovery on Sale for 20% Off

Hetman Software updates Hetman Partition Recovery, the company´s flagship tool to recover lost information and repair damaged, corrupted and inaccessible disk volumes.

2012-07-30
LUHANSK, UKRAINE, July 30, 2012 (Press-News.org) Hetman Software updates Hetman Partition Recovery, the company´s flagship tool to recover lost information and repair damaged, corrupted and inaccessible disk volumes. The new release features numerous improvements in recovery algorithms, allowing the tool to reliably locate and recover more files than ever. In addition, enhancements to the user interface make the tool even easier to use with more safeguards against accidental data corruption.

For a limited time, the newly released Hetman Partition Recovery is available at a reduced price. Customers registering Hetman Partition Recovery before July 1st 2012 will receive a 20% discount off the regular price. In order to receive the discount, customers will have to enter "Discount 20" into the "coupon code" field on the order form.

Hetman Partition Recovery was among the first tools on the market to employ the signature search technology to locate and recover files from hard drives with damaged, missing or corrupted file systems. The technology performs the complete scan of the entire disk surface (or reads the entire content of a solid-state media such as flash memory cards or SSD drives), recognizing missing information by analyzing the content of every sector. If a matching signature is detected, Hetman Partition Recovery can further analyze information, calculating the exact location and length of the file on the hard disk. As a result, Hetman Partition Recovery can recover more information than competing tools relying on the file system scan alone.

Inherent disadvantages of signature search are slow speed (reading the entire disk surface is naturally slower than accessing the file system alone) and limited support of only certain file types. Only those file types known by the algorithm can be located and recovered with signature search; the rest of the files has to be located by analyzing the file system.

The new release features an improved version of the signature-search algorithm, adding more formats to the list of supported files. By extending the list of supported formats, Hetman Partition Recovery can now recover more information than ever.

Pricing and Availability:

Hetman Partition Recovery is available immediately. Prices start from $139.95 for the Home edition. For a limited time, a 20% discount is available (coupon code "Discount 20").
