COLUMBUS, OH, July 30, 2012 (Press-News.org) Rick was recently awarded one of the first ever Superstar Coach Awards at the Fitness and Athletic Revolution National Convention in Louisville, Kentucky. This award is given to coaches who display exemplary service, innovative practice, and commitment to personal and professional excellence.
The Yun FIT family couldn't be more proud of Rick, who started as a client in 2009 and became a coach a year later. Rick has been involved in sports throughout his entire life. A native of Urbana, Ohio, he competed and lettered in football, basketball, and track. While serving in the U.S. Army, he participated as a member of the track team while stationed at Ft. Bliss in El Paso, Texas, as well as in Vicenza, Italy. As a military police officer and later as civilian peace officer, Rick has been well practiced in multiple facets of hand-to-hand combat, strength and agility training, and emergency response. In fair weather, he enjoys cycling extended distances on Ohio's many beautiful bike paths. There are not many athletic challenges Rick will shy away from!
Rick has been trained by Jason Yun and has also earned his Youth Fitness Specialist (YFS) Certification through the International Youth Conditioning Association (IYCA).
