RALEIGH, NC, August 01, 2012 (Press-News.org) Raleigh's premier Modern Mexican restaurant, Jibarra, announces the appointment of a new executive Chef, Oscar Diaz. With years of kitchen experience under his belt, Diaz brings a new flavor to Jibarra's cuisine.
Chef Oscar's flair for introducing Latin flavors and ingredients into otherwise untraditional Latin dishes makes his style an exciting addition to the greater Triangle's cuisine landscape.
Featuring locally grown produce and fresh ingredients, Chef Oscar has reinvented dining at Jibarra.
"We're thrilled about the new menu and the buzz it is creating. New customers have come in to see what the excitement is all about, as well as old friends, who say they love the new menu." said Jibarra owner, Joel Ibarra.
Under Diaz' leadership the new menu boasts a rich variety of dishes from Saku Tuna with coconut habanera sauce to seared duck breast with truffled potatoes and an apricot mole.
Jibarra has always prided itself on reinventing traditional Mexican dishes with updated cooking methods and ingredients; the new chef has brought it to the next level.
Besides fresh, unique lunch and dinner menus, the restaurant boasts an ample tequila bar. With a separate room for private parties, Jibarra is a full-service event hot-spot.
