ROCKFORD, IL, August 04, 2012 (Press-News.org) The Rock River Water Reclamation District announced Advanced Waste Services Illinois Division is the winner of the 2011 Annual Pretreatment Silver Award.
The Rock River Annual Pretreatment Awards are given to recognize the personal efforts in achieving an excellent compliance record with the pretreatment regulations of industrial wastewaters.
"I believe you are setting an exemplary example for other industries within the District's boundaries," shared District Director, Steve Graceffa, in a congratulatory letter to KC Wulf, General Manager of Advanced Waste Services Illinois Division. "Again, my congratulations and keep up the good work."
"This award represents our substantial compliance with regulations for treating non-hazardous wastewaters for our clients in Rockford and Northern Illinois," says Wulf. "It gives clients peace of mind knowing they are in compliance with regulations of processing their waste streams."
The industrial wastewater treatment plant owned and operated by AWS is located in Rockford IL. Primary clients include manufacturing, chemical and food and beverage companies.
Most notably the Rockford location has the ability to transform used oil and oily wastewater into natural resources of purified oil and water.
