NEW YORK, NY, August 13, 2012 (Press-News.org) NYSE Euronext, in partnership with Accion, a national microlender, and Yelp, an online review site, have launched "Small Business Connections: Marketing Meets Micrfinancing," a small business marketing and financing workshop series in conjunction with The NYSE Big StartUpSM, according to a New York Times article. The tour, which started June 12, gives small business owners access to local resources to help make their entrepreneurial dreams a reality. Small business owners will also learn how to increase their online marketing presence by engaging in online review sites. The Online Hosting Network, a Web-based educational resource, supports the seminars, but also encourages business owners to look into some of its unique programs.
The NYSE Big StartUp is a nationwide job creation and business growth initiative aimed to establish connections between small businesses and established corporations. In addition, the initiative includes a $1.5 million commitment by NYSE for small businesses and startups to garner the capital and support they need to expand. Scott Cutler, Executive President of NYSE, said the Big StartUp provides small companies with the resources they need to stimulate more growth in their industry. Of course, The Online Hosting Network understands that businesses are always looking for ways to gain more clients and expand in ever-changing times.
"The most frequent questions that Accion receives from small business owners relates to how they can market their business on a budget," said Gina Harman, Chief Executive Officer of Accion's U.S. Network. "Additionally, national data continuously suggests that access to capital is a barrier to business growth. The Small Business Connections tour will bring together leading national organizations in small business marketing and financing to increase access to these resources for hardworking small business owners looking to grow and create jobs."
The tour will stop in Houston, Austin, New York, Boston and Chicago and others this year. If the tour is not coming to a particular city, The Online Hosting Network can still help small business owners with its array of affiliate marketing tools, including customized websites and access to some of the best affiliate marketing networks on the Internet. The Online Hosting Network makes sure small business owners have access to the latest tools to make their companies stand out among its competitors.
The Online Hosting Network supports the NYSE's efforts to reach out to small business owners. However, that is a task Online Hosting Network has been doing for years across the world.
