Local Business Helps Raise over $130,000 for Charity

COLUMBUS, OH, August 16, 2012 (Press-News.org) Fitness Revolution and Athletic Revolution International, a large group personal training and fitness bootcamp, and youth sports and fitness franchise, has just completed an international charity campaign called "Revolution for a Cause." Yun Fit The UN Bootcamp a proud member of the Fitness Revolution Columbus and Athletic Revolution Hilliard Nation, participated in the fundraiser, which raised over $130,000 for charity.

Revolution for a Cause brought together the individual efforts of 50 different fitness businesses from the United States and even some international locations. It ran from April 1st- June 30th.

The campaign was organized such that individual locations held their own charity drives and each could then donate that money to any charity of their choosing. The goal was to collectively raise $50,000 among all of the participating businesses.

By raising a cumulative total of over $130,000, Revolution for a Cause far exceeded its initial goal.

"We conceived of this as a way for franchisees to give back to the communities that have allowed them to thrive," says Nick Berry, the President of Athletic Revolution.

"To exceed our original goal of $50K by over 2.5 times is something we never could have imagined," said VP of Operations Tim Ward, who oversaw the campaign. "It really shows the people we work with have a passion for their communities."

Among the contributors was local business Yun Fit the UN Bootcamp, located in Hilliard, Columbus, and Reynoldsburg owned by Jason Yun. He is also the owner of Athletic Revolution Hilliard. They raised $310.

"Without people like Jason Yun and his Fitness Revolution and Athletic Revolution businesses in Columbus, OH, none of this would have been possible." said Pat Rigsby, CEO.
