Celerant Technology Releases Mobile Point of Sale on the Motion SlateMate

STATEN ISLAND, NY, August 17, 2012 (Press-News.org) Celerant Technology, a leader in the retail software industry, recently partnered with Motion Computing, a global provider of tablet PCs, to provide a Mobile POS that may be used from anywhere in the store. Celerant's Command Retail point of sale module is now available on the Motion SlateMate with magnetic stripe reader and barcode scanner.

Celerant's Mobile POS allows retailers to complete sales transactions away from a register. The Motion SlateMate is a tablet PC with a built-in barcode scanner and magnetic stripe reader which, when running Command Retail, can ring up sales, process credit cards, and wirelessly print or email receipts. Retailers will also be able to create quotes by scanning items directly from the sales floor, perform line busting to minimize sales lines and create gift registries which integrate with a Celerant E-Commerce site.
