RALEIGH, NC, August 18, 2012 (Press-News.org) William Peace University (http://www.peace.edu), a private four-year university located in downtown Raleigh, has announced that Brittany Gilliam has joined the university's admissions department as an admissions counselor. In her role, Gilliam will be responsible for informing, recruiting and admitting students into the university and will participate in interviewing potential candidates, responding to student inquires, attending college fairs and evaluating applications for acceptance. Prior to joining William Peace University, Gilliam served as a resident advisor, counselor and graduate assistant throughout her undergraduate and graduate years. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Gilliam earned a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and mass communications, and is working toward her Master of Education at NC State University. A member of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, she resides in Cary, N.C.
