S&A Cherokee Wins Summit Award from Garner Chamber of Commerce

S&A Cherokee, a full-service communications firm, has been honored by the Garner Chamber of Commerce as a winner in the Chamber's first-annual Summit Awards. S&A Cherokee won in the entrepreneurial category for companies with 16-50 employees.The award was presented to S&A Cherokee at the Garner Chamber's Annual Meeting on Sept., 30 at the Grand Marquise Ballroom in Garner.
S&A Cherokee was one of 12 different companies named as finalists for six Summit Awards. ABC-11's Angela Hampton, former award-winning news anchor and now community relations director for WTVD, served as the emcee during the awards portion of the event.

In 2010, S&A Cherokee also won three Sir Walter Raleigh Awards for Excellence in Communication from the Raleigh Public Relations Society (RPRS), three Hermes Creative Awards from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, four InSpire Awards from the North Carolina Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (NCPRSA) and an International Communitas Award. The company was also recently named by Inc. magazine to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing privately held companies in America.
