Displays2Go Expands DIY Sign Standoff Selection

Displays2Go has added this new shaped green edged acrylic DIY printed sign with stainless steel standoffs to their selection. The user printed film is the biggest draw of this style of inter-office signage.

2012-08-24
BRISTOL, RI, August 24, 2012 (Press-News.org) Displays2Go, the largest subsidiary under the parent company of George Patton Associates, has expanded their sign standoff selection with the addition of a new complete Do-It-Yourself signage system. The DIY signage is made up two laser cut pieces of green-edge acrylic plates, pre-dye-cut printable film and stainless steel standoffs.

"This directory sign is the newest shape and size in our custom line of DIY sign products," said Sandra Reno, head of the engineering department at Displays2Go. "We started this line of inter-office signage after our design team sandwiched a few business cards together on some scraps of acrylic and mounted it outside of our department. What started out as a whimsical act has turned into one of our fastest growing and best selling lines of directory signage."

The directory sign just released by Displays2Go is a complete Do-It-Yourself sign system. The sign standoffs are oval in shape with two high polished green acrylic edges which give off the effect of real glass. The oval directory sign is mounted to any wall or door with two stainless steel radial, screw top standoffs. What makes this particular line of signage stand out from more traditional models is that the whole design is controlled by the end user. Each offering come with six pieces of printable film to place in-between the pieces of acrylic. There are three pieces of clear and three pieces of frosted film with each unit. Unlike many other sign displays, with these directory plaques there is no need to employ the services of a sign shop or professional printer as the provided film can be printed on with laser printers and photocopiers. Displays2Go also offers free on-line design templates in Illustrator, Photoshop and Word formats for worry free design of their DIY acrylic sign systems.

"We are really confident in expanding this line of sign standoffs," Ms. Reno continued. "We have graphed a steady increase in sales within this line of DIY signage and are happy to provide our customers with new designs and shapes of this particular product selection. However the simple fact that anyone with MS Word can make their own print shop quality standoff sign is why these signs sell, and we respond to that by designing new shapes and working different colored acrylic materials and standoffs."

Since the mid-1970's, Displays2Go.com has been one of the leading developers of visual merchandising materials in the North American marketplace. They not only have many different styles of wall mounted sign but they also offer floor standing sign and ceiling hung units in both cable and chain construction and one of the nation's largest selections of standoffs. Displays2Go makes their home in Bristol, Rhode Island and is a fast ship company with most all in-stock orders shipped same day when ordered before 1:00pm EST.
