To celebrate the debut, Author Ken Piel will be appearing at nearly a dozen wineries and tasting rooms throughout Sonoma County. Two of the books highlights include a section on "Hidden Gems" such as Roussane, Marsanne, and the emerging popularity of Tempranillo and a chapter on unique wines produced from single Sonoma appellations (the wine equivalent of a single malt scotch).

Proceeds from the auction will support diverse Sonoma County charitable organizations including Redwood Empire Food Bank, The Boys & Girls Club of Sonoma Valley, La Luz, Sonoma Valley Educations Foundation, and other deserving organizations.
