The first ad is running in Smart Money magazine (August 2012) and is directed at consumers.

"We have talked with literally millions of timeshare owners over the past 25 years," said ResortCom president Alex Marxer. "Our experience has paid off and we know what works and what doesn't. We want to hear from timeshare owners themselves about their feelings about their timeshare experiences."

Two other ads have been scheduled. One will run in the industry trade publication, Developments and the other for the Wall Street Journal.

"On the other hand," said John Small, Chairman of ResortCom, "We want to start an open forum for those of responsible for making timeshare work. People like managers, developers and service providers to the timeshare industry. Only by getting an open dialog between all the entities will we be able to make our business all that it can be."

Statistics provided by ARDA, the American Resort Development Association, say that the overwhelming majority of timeshare owners are happy with the product. Yet, the industry continues to have a negative image in many sectors, particularly the press. ResortCom International is pressing the conversation forward in order to provide a meaningful platform of opinions in order to improve the perception and awareness of the timeshare product.
