Can't Decide What Beer to Drink, Now Your Phone Will Choose For You!

World of Beer Franchising, Inc. (WOB), a rapidly growing Tampa-based concept, formally announce today the launch of their free mobile app for iPhone and Android users.

2012-08-25
TAMPA, FL, August 25, 2012 (Press-News.org) World of Beer Franchising, Inc. (WOB), a rapidly growing Tampa-based concept, formally announce today the launch of their free mobile app for iPhone and Android users. The highly anticipated app is aimed at providing customers all over the country with the most up-to-date information on inventory, upcoming events, nationwide locations, and loyalty status.

"As the World of Beer concept continues to grow, we are committed to providing customers with not only the most extensive beer selection, but now a platform in which we're expanding our culture through cutting-edge technology," said Ben Novello, CEO of World of Beer Franchising, Inc. "Users truly have a World of Beer in the palm of their hand, and this is only the beginning of exciting things for the entire WOB community."

WOB teamed up with Tampa-based app developer and avid WOB enthusiast, Matthew Breedlove of No Name Industries. The idea for this mobile app was derived from Breedlove's frustration of searching a constantly evolving list of 500+ beers every time he ordered. After trying over 1,500 brews, this quickly became a problem.

"We've been fortunate to combine two of our passions - beer and programming," said Breedlove. "Working with World of Beer has been a wonderful experience, and as an added benefit, we get to do extensive 'field testing' and call it work."

The mobile app, now available for download as "World of Beer", allows users to do the following:

FIND A BEER: View the entire inventory from any WOB location in real-time. By using the smart filtering system, users are able to search for the perfect beer at any location or shake the phone to have the app choose a random beer.

GET LOYALTY INFORMATION: Enter your card number to access your loyalty information. By using the loyalty filtering system, users are able to choose from a list of new beers they've never tried.

SEARCH UPCOMING EVENTS: Access event information for any WOB location. Whether it's live music, brewery features and beer specials, users are able to see what is happening in advance.

FIND LOCATION INFO: Do you want to know where the nearest World of Beer is? How about hours? Phone number? Users can access all this information along with a built-in map.

WOB was founded in Tampa, FL in 2007. Now, just five years later, they have just launched their 31st location in Milwaukee, WI. The soo¬n-to-be household name is currently open in 10 states (FL, VA, TX, WI, OH, IL, NC, GA, AZ and SC). The locations to soon follow include San Antonio, TX, Dallas, TX, Evanston, IL, Easton, OH and Birmingham, AL, Brandon, FL and Kendall, FL.
