TUSTIN, CA, August 25, 2012 (Press-News.org) Irvine-based Haskell & White LLP, one of Southern California's largest independently owned accounting, auditing and tax consulting firms, has been named one of Orange County's Best Places to Work by the Orange County Business Journal.
Currently in its fourth year, the awards program seeks to identify and honor Orange County, Calif.'s best employers by evaluating categories such as corporate culture, workforce diversity, organizational philosophy and employee satisfaction. Haskell & White was recognized in the Medium-Sized Companies (50-249 employees) category.
"At Haskell & White, our objective to provide excellent client service begins with the strength and consistency of our staff," said Wayne Pinnell, managing partner of Haskell and White. "We are privileged to have a diverse team of professionals spanning many disciplines and this honor further validates our commitment to making the Haskell & White employee experience unlike any other in our industry."
The Best Places to Work in Orange County Awards are determined via a two-part survey, which is managed by independent research firm Best Companies Group. Part one evaluates each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics and accounts for 25 percent of the evaluation. Part two consists of an employee survey to measure overall employee experience and accounts for 75 percent of the total evaluation.
Key areas highlighted in Haskell & White's survey included its employee development programs, active participation in community service and promotion of work/life balance among staff members.
The final rankings will be published in a special report in the October 29 issue of the Orange County Business Journal. Additional information on the Best Places to Work Orange County program is available at http://www.BestPlacestoWorkOC.com.
