SALISBURY, UK, August 26, 2012 (Press-News.org) Plumb Center and Parts Center are running their second annual Wise up to Water Treatment initiative in branches nationwide throughout October. It aims to increase installers' awareness around how water treatment can benefit both them and their customers.
The current economy has reduced the number of boiler installations for many installers, which means all avenues for income generation should be considered. That's where water treatment can help. It doesn't just help improve the energy efficiency performance of domestic heating systems; it also gives installers the opportunity for additional work.
A new heating system can be up to 6% less efficient within a matter of weeks if not correctly treated. Keith Jones, Managing Director, Plumb Center and Parts Center, says: "Good water treatment practice offers great savings to consumers by lowering their energy bills and extending the life of a heating system and boiler. Therefore it's very important that installers have the knowledge to positively and competently communicate these benefits to their customers."
During the course of the initiative branches will be visited by technical experts from leading manufacturers including Fernox, Sentinel and Adey, They will share their expertise and be on hand to talk to customers and answer questions.
Wise up to Water Treatment 2011 was a ground-breaking initiative where leading manufacturers of water treatment applications and a merchant came together to support installers. Keith Jones says: "As market leaders, we have an important part to play in helping installers reach the level of competence demanded; there is a clear need for more information on the different water treatment options and their applications. This is why we are back with a month long Wise up to Water Treatment initiative this year."
The merchant wants installers to recognise that every time they install a boiler, radiator, pump or valve there is an additional opportunity to enhance their reputation and revenue through the use of water treatment products. Installers will also be able to take advantage of a range of special offers throughout the initiative, details of which are soon to be confirmed.

2012-08-26
Many people have traditionally shied away from purchasing original artwork, assuming it is out of their price range and while it is true that 'high end' pieces can run into ten of thousands of dollars, entry level (and upwards) pieces are more affordable than you imagine.

(all prices are in $ dollars for the purposes of this article, exclusive of any appropriate tax, refer to framed pieces and all sizes are 'image only')
