Walsh Family Media is an independent intellectual property developer and animation studio based in NYC. The company was started in 2002 by Hollywood stuntman and entrepreneur Patrick Walsh, Jr. The company's mission has been consistent since its inception: "To strengthen the connection between parents and their children by producing healthy, hip and fun family branded content where the only rule is to keep it cool!"
Walsh Family Media LLC was formed in November 2002 to fill a void in the marketplace for Healthy, Hip and fun programming that the whole family can enjoy. Years earlier, while Toy Story was still in production Patrick was conceiving his own idea for a computer generated cartoon entitled The Cool Beans, a group of super hip musicians trying to make it big on the music scene. Patrick felt confident that his Cool Beans property would help him explode onto the family scene much like Walt Disney did years earlier with that little mouse. Walsh Family Media was the name that he chose for the company as he wanted to stake his own surname in a quest to leave a legacy in family entertainment.
Walsh has made a stand to make "healthy" hip again! In his mission he has made it quite clear that he will only partner with corporations that are like-minded.
