(http://www.cbh.com), one of the largest national public accounting and consulting firms headquartered in the Southeast, has announced that the firm will host a seminar on understanding Small Business Administration (SBA) recertification requirements on Friday, Sept. 14 from 10 a.m. to noon in Fayetteville, N.C., at the Partnership for Defense Innovation office located at 455 Ramsey St.
The seminar will feature a presentation from Carlene Kamradt, Cherry Bekaert & Holland senior manager, about the SBA requirements for recertifying the size status of a company in specific circumstances. Kamradt will discuss the SBA rules, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) implementation of the SBA rules, the differences between the two sets of rules, how size is computed to determine whether a business is small, the contractual impact the FAR rules can have on contractors and the impact the rules have on small business subcontractors.
