CHICAGO, IL, August 29, 2012 (Press-News.org) Dr. Graphx installs outdoor marketing materials for Magnificent Mile Shopping Festival presented by Master Card. The job was ordered by The Greater North Michigan Ave Association in Chicago, IL. Custom printed sidewalk graphic decals were installed and applied direct to the sidewalk in front of Pioneer Court (401 N Michigan Ave) to mimic a red carpet.
The red carpet was used to kickoff the shopping festival with a stiletto race, "Running of the Heels." Runners raced 60 yards in 2" or higher heels for a chance to win 10 pairs of shoes from sponsors.
(62) 38" circles were also installed at each intersection of the Mag Mile to advertise the event. Each graphic was installed by hand and the edges were heated to secure the graphics to the sidewalk.
The sidewalk graphics were printed on MACtac Streetrap outdoor floor graphic material with an ASTM rated non-slip overlaminate for safety.
A time-lapse of the install cane be viewed here: http://youtu.be/JAE1o6WE7Dg
