RALEIGH, NC, August 31, 2012 (Press-News.org) Sepi Asefnia, president of SEPI Engineering & Construction (http://www.sepiengineering.com), a firm which provides civil engineering and planning services to private and public sector clients across the Southeast, has announced the addition of Sean Clark as environmental division manager. In his position, Clark will manage division staff and projects, as well as market environmental services to clients.
Clark received his bachelor's degree in natural resources ecosystem assessment with minors in forest management and environmental science from NC State University. An avid outdoorsman, Clark began his career at a local environmental consulting firm as a field scientist, advancing to project manager, natural resources manager and then corporate operations manager. He most recently served as an environmental project manager with another local engineering firm. Active in industry associations, Clark currently serves as the vice president of the North Carolina Association of Environmental Professionals (NCAEP) and is a member of the Society of Wetland Scientists (SWS) and the Society of Ecological Restoration (SER). His collaborative work on a bio-retention cell won the 2011 Sir Walter Raleigh Award from the City of Raleigh's Appearance Commission. In addition to engineering industry service, Clark is a volunteer for Girl Scouts of the USA and co-head of the Master Planning Grounds committee at A.B. Combs Elementary School. Clark resides in his hometown of Raleigh with his wife and four daughters.
