July 30, 2012 Sonoma Energy Capital, LLC begins drilling the Maunie #2 well to a projected depth of 5000'. The Maunie North field in Carmi, Illinois has produced over 5 million barrels of oil for depth above 3000'. Geological data compiled by our team shows that the Maunie North field sits atop a large structure that is a perfect candidate or deeper drilling. The G Brown #1 also drilled in the Maunie North field by Sonoma Energy Capital, LLC, was the first discovery of deeper oil on this large structure.
