BURLINGTON, NC, September 02, 2012 (Press-News.org) A.D. "Jack" Bailey, vice president of Triangle Grading And Paving, Inc. (http://www.trianglegradingpaving.com), has announced that the company has entered into a mentor/protege agreement with Palmetto Civil Group, LLC, a Charleston, S.C., firm owned by Joey H. Jefferson. Triangle will mentor Palmetto for an $8.87 million project at Camp Lejeune, N.C. for the 2nd Intel Headquarters Campus of the U.S. Marine Corps. Palmetto is a subcontractor for the project under Turner Construction Company, an international design build firm based in Washington, D.C.
Under Triangle's mentoring program, Palmetto will furnish project management and assist in the concrete paving. Triangle will perform most of the other site construction. The project is scheduled to be completed in two years.
The experience between Palmetto and Triangle will help in performing the project on time and in budget. The two firms first teamed up previously on a taxiway extension project in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Triangle has long been known to foster relationships with minority firms to help them reach their goals of growth and maturity as self-sustaining construction companies.
QUOTES:
"We are excited about the mentor program and teaming up with Palmetto Civil Group again," said Bailey "Both of our companies will gain a valuable experience from this project."

2012-09-02
Back in 1999 when he was recording 'Ticket Out Of Dizneyland', Billie Reid remembered how he wrote 'Slaves Replacement Technology & The Neutron Bomb' in 1988. The next summer, Ben Elton's book 'Stark' was published, using a very similar theme. Billie pointed out that a couple he stayed with at a farmhouse south of Fremantle (who used to 'milk his brains then scoff') went on to rent from and stay with Ben and his wife Sophie: 'Ben's Stark appeared soon after,' said Billie.
Back then I didn't delve that deeply. However I did broach the issue with him in late 2010, ...
