The Market-Leading EMS Just Keeps Getting Better

eSight Energy, Inc. is dedicated to growing the eSight energy management suite into a truly dynamic product, and is set to release the latest version at the end of October.

SCHAUMBURG, IL, September 02, 2012 (Press-News.org) A key addition to the latest version of eSight will be the new ENERGY STAR integration. eSight's new module will link directly to existing accounts in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, EPA's building energy measurement and tracking tool. The module will provide users with the ability to apply advanced analytics to identify areas for improvement and with the capability to set automatic notifications for buildings eligible to apply for the ENERGY STAR.

The new version of eSight will also feature Single Sign On capability. Using LDAP Queries to synchronize user accounts between eSight and Microsoft Active Directory, users will be able to quickly and easily access eSight without the need to login again with another username and password.

"2012.1 builds on the hugely successful 2011.1 version and includes a number of significant enhancements and new functionality, including Single Sign-on ability using Active Directory and the new integration work with EPA's ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager tool, which will enable our customers to automatically and seamlessly obtain ENERGY STAR energy performance scores for their entire portfolio of buildings on an on-going basis."

With the input from valued eSight users and help from the development team, the upcoming release boasts a number of additional enhancements to existing functionality. These changes including the ability to configure periods with fixed start and end dates, the option to display Multi-Variable Regression Analysis CUSUM graphs on Facility Management Dashboards, enhanced and customizable report styles, improvements to report translations, amongst others.
