BOSTON, MA, September 04, 2012 (Press-News.org) Boston law firm Cushing & Dolan, P.C. has a few recent announcements during the summer months.

Kristen Papulis, a receptionist and real estate paralegal, has been recently called by the United States Army for another tour of duty.

Kristen has been at the firm for the last several years. Most people recognize her pleasant voice, if not her face sitting behind the desk. Kristen is a Sergeant in the Army National Guard in which she has already taken two one-year tours of duty. Her first tour of duty was in Iraq and the other in Afghanistan. She will be deployed soon to Qatar to serve for a year.

Although Kristen is temporarily leaving, Cushing & Dolan, P.C. is proud to announce that attorney Joseph Brooks has joined the firm as an associate in the Real Estate Group. Brooks graduated from Northeastern University School of Law. His practice areas focus on commercial and residential real estate cases, which include drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, commercial and residential lending, and other specialties.

Brooks formerly worked at Harmon Law Offices, PC working on residential foreclosures. His energy and experience will be welcomed warmly into the Real Estate Group affiliated with Cushing & Dolan. Brooks is licensed to practice law within the states of Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
