OW Lee Announces Two New Classic Wrought Iron Collections with Value Pricing
2012-09-04
ONTARIO, CA, September 04, 2012 (Press-News.org) O.W. Lee, a manufacturer of high-end outdoor furniture, fire pits, and accessories, announced today two new value-based outdoor furniture collections, Laredo and Marquette. The new collections are similar versions to the company's popular Classico Collection with subtle changes, including wider arms and cushions with pillow backs. Both Laredo and Marquette were created to reflect O.W. Lee's high-quality craftsmanship, but within the well-priced category of iron-made furniture.

Marquette combines both French and English styling to create a collection of elegant lines with a touch of Tudor. The collection's key characteristics include hand-forged, extra-wide arms; a pillow-back cushion on the deep seating furniture; and spring steel seat straps which provide added comfort.

The Laredo Collection features spring steel strapping in the seat and back. Like Marquette, Laredo includes extra-wide arms for enhanced comfort. The simple lines of Laredo were designed to give the collection a transitional essence and character.

Laredo and Marquette are full line ensembles that give consumers the option to mix and match products and styles in the collections, including the bases of the furniture. For example, swivel rockers, spring bases and stationary seating can be combined in a variety of creative ways. The cushions are offered in over 100 stock Sunbrella fabrics and can be customized with Customer's Own Material (COM).

Both Marquette and Laredo can be paired with one of O.W. Lee's casual fire tables available in a number of different top choices, including the company's new porcelain tops. The porcelain tops come in eight tile colors and nine frame finishes. "The combination of O.W. Lee's new value-based deep seating collections and our various dining sets and fire tables can enable retailers to maximize selling and cross-selling opportunities, as they market outdoor room designs to their customers," says, Terri Lee Rogers, president / owner for O.W. Lee.

Marquette and Laredo will be on display at the 2012 International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market, in September, Chicago Merchandise Mart / MMPI. To learn more, contact a local sales representative or O.W. Lee directly at info@owlee.com or 909-947-3771. See all O.W. Lee collections at www.owlee.com.

For over sixty years, O.W. Lee has been dedicated to the design and production of fine, handcrafted casual furniture. From a 100,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Ontario, California, artisans combine centuries-old techniques with state-of-the-art equipment to produce beautiful casual furniture.

Safety or Profit? Red-Light Cameras in Florida

2012-09-04
In March 2012, Pascoe County Judge Anne Wansboro ruled in favor of Thomas Filippone, who, after having travelled through an intersection that was equipped with a red-light camera, received a $158 traffic ticket in the mail. Judge Wansboro decided the matter on the constitutional level, writing that red-light camera use "impermissibly shifts the burden of proof to the Defendant and therefore does not afford due process, and is unconstitutional to the extent due process is not provided," as Liz Klimas reports for Blaze.com. The issue, boiled down to its essence, ...
