Emediagroup Offers Eco-Friendly Seed Bibs for Your Next Race
2010-08-09
GREENVILLE, SC, August 09, 2010 (Press-News.org) Emediagroup is proud to offer a new, eco-friendly bib for running events as part of their 'finish green' program. The seed bibs are an excellent alternative to the traditional Tyvek bibs for events that are focusing on promoting a green atmosphere.

The seed bibs are made of post-consumer waste, which makes them 100% recyclable. A unique benefit of these bibs is that after the race, the runner can take the bib home and plant it in their garden to bloom wildflowers (Black Eyed Susans)! The best time of year to plant the seed bibs is in the spring or fall seasons. Planting instructions are included on each bib.

"Seed bibs are a wonderful enhancement to any race, especially those that honor a cause or a loved one," stated emediagroup's event media specialist, Beth Evansek. "For race directors, they really help emphasize your desire to have a green race, and allow you to share that desire with your participants. We have had such positive feedback on this product, and have heard and seen how excited racers are when they receive these bibs. It is important to be environmentally conscious, and we here at emediagroup are proud to offer our 'finish green' program."

Like the traditional Tyvek bibs emediagroup produces for races all over the world, the seed bibs are available for full color print, with or without tear stubs, and personalization and backprint are available. Since the bibs are made from paper, emediagroup advises the use of them for races of 10K distances and under.

emediagroup also offers recycling information and signs for Tyvek bibs as part of their 'finish green' program. This is another great option for a greener event.

To learn more about the seed bibs, please contact emediagroup at 1.877.866.race(7223). You can also visit www.emediagrp.com, and follow them on facebook at www.facebook.com/emediabibs.
