Spanish Learning Startup Lingoo Launches in Austin, TX

New company provides one-on-one instruction from private tutors at a significant discount. Tutors provide lessons online over videochat (e.g. Skype) and user experience is managed through website.

2012-09-05
AUSTIN, TX, September 05, 2012 (Press-News.org) Lingoo, the latest tech startup to launch in the Silicon Hills (a.k.a. Austin and San Antonio, TX), is offering a free Spanish lesson to anyone willing to give their product a try. Their model is simple: one-on-one Spanish lessons from your very own private tutor over videochat. Because your tutor is in a foreign country, you not only learn the local dialect, culture, and pronunciation, but also save heaps of money as compared to an at-home private tutor.

Spanish lessons can be on a recurring basis, or can be purchased as a package, and lessons can be rescheduled or canceled the day of if needed. Students benefit from personalized instruction during 45-minute lessons over videochat as well as a review exercise after each lesson, personally-prepared by their tutor to enable them to reach their goals as quickly as possible. An added feature is Lingoo's Proficiency Belt system, which awards belts as students progress (think karate but instead it's your foreign language frustrations you're kicking to the curb!).

Popular demand has limited availability for lessons but the company is in the process of hiring more tutors in more countries to meet demand. No plans yet to expand to other languages.

Lingoo is an online Spanish language learning site that pairs Spanish-speaking hopefuls with certified tutors all over the world through videochat. Lingoo offers personalized one-on-one instruction from a native speaker without breaking the bank. Our tutors hail from Argentina, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, and Spain.

Private tutors used to be expensive... not anymore. For further information, please visit our website http://www.timetolingoo.com/ or contact help@timetolingoo.com
