Film Business, Bradley.tv, Expands With Opening of GBP100,000 'Green Screen' Studio
2010-10-07
LEEDS, ENGLAND, October 07, 2010 (Press-News.org) Leeds-based video production company, Bradley.tv, has expanded its operation with the opening of a GBP100,000 green screen film studio - the fast-growing business has taken an additional 700 sq ft studio space in Queen Street to build the facility.

The technology in the new studio, which is the only one of its kind for hire in the LS1 postcode, allows Bradley.tv to shoot broadcast quality HD footage and add any kind of backdrop - the technique is used in television weather forecasts where the presenter stands in front of a green screen and the weather map is added digitally.

The company has invested in the very latest Reflecmedia technology which uses a combination of a special lens-mounted light ring and a unique new back-drop fabric which contains millions of tiny glass beads, for optimum green screen results.

Nick Bradley, Director at Bradley.tv, said: "The number of businesses now wanting video content has grown exponentially and our need for green screen technology has quadrupled in the last year.

"Previously, we've had to hire out alternative studio space which is both costly from a financial point of view, but also from a time perspective as we'd sometimes have to do a 150-mile round trip if facilities in the region were booked.

"Now we have our own facility at our Leeds head office, we can offer the fastest and lowest cost service in the region.

"We've already taken bookings for a variety of projects ranging from corporate videos, TV ads, pop videos, you name it - this week alone we're shooting premiership footballer Robbie Savage, Emmerdale actor Andy Devine and BBC One Show reporter Alex Kramer."

Bradley.tv specialises in a range of video production services including music videos, TV and cinema commercials, animation, lifestyle films and corporate videos for clients including the BBC, BP, William Hill, Google, T-Mobile, InTechnology, Lowell Group, Cancer Research, DLA Piper and the IoD.
