San Francisco Native Hitmaker Will Take the Stage at Oheka Castle

BOHEMIA, NY, September 06, 2012

Singer, songwriter, producer, actor, and model Aki Starr is scheduled to perform at Oheka Castle in Huntington, NY as part of Brielle's Fairytale Fashions. Starr will travel from California specifically for the fashion show that will benefit non-profit organization, Angela's House and debut a new song written for the event!

The five-star threat has modeled for Versace, played with Santana, has worked for Disney, and has had songs featured on TV shows like "Jake 2.0," "Malcolm in the Middle," "Desperate Housewives," and more. Starr recently signed to the Renegade Music Group (RMG) label and has debuted his first single and video, "The Closer I Get to You," which is a remake of Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway's dance classic from 1977. Within the first week of the video's upload, it accrued more than 40,000 views on YouTube. "The Closer I Get to You" has been received very well on the West Coast and was featured on iTunes under "New and Noteworthy" and MTV's "Sway's Universe." Additionally, Starr was a member of Spanish Fly; a freestyle music group with hits like "Daddy's Home," "Treasure of My Heart," "Crimson and Clover," "Visions," "I Can See," "One Last Try," and "Who You Loving Tonight?"

An electric performer, Starr is helping created massive buzz for Brielle's Fairytale Fashions Show.
