Anniversary Party to Be Held at Shelby American Collection Museum September 8th

BOULDER, CO, September 07, 2012 (Press-News.org) Following a Californian tour in August which included three prestigious awards at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, the Shelby American Collection returns to its Boulder home for a memorial and museum anniversary party. Please join us at this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate 50 years of Cobra racing heritage and the life of Carroll Shelby, who sadly passed away on May 10.

About Shelby American Collection
The Shelby American Collection is a unique and extensive collection of Shelby Cobra, Shelby GT 350 and Ford GT 40 cars, historical records and memorabilia. The museum is dedicated to the preservation of Shelby American Automobiles and to convey the Shelby American team story to the public.
Many of the original vehicles which were instrumental in establishing the Shelby American racing team and the legendary performance of the Cobra race cars are on exhibit. Also displayed are the first Shelby GT 350 R model and the GT 40 Mk IV driven by Mario Andretti at Le Mans in 1967.
