ALEXANDRIA, VA, September 08, 2012 (Press-News.org) Ms. Donna Quesinberry, CEO and President of DonnaInk Publications THE BOOK NOOK, announced release of Dr. Joyce Knudsen's newest title, SYMBOLS: The Art of Communication in eBook 20 August 2012. Dr. Joyce's title aims to enlighten readers to the subtly involved in communication and symbiology. Whether personal relationships, business or everyday encounters, Dr. Joyce maps the messages we send and receive to aid readers in understanding the depth of communications, which often goes untapped. She explains, "Oftentimes the SYMBOLS we share and resultant communicated message, aren't what we anticipate when sharing our message. And, this is where the enlightenment must begin."

Dr. Joyce M. Knudsen, Ph.D., AICI CIM, Founder and President of The ImageMaker, Inc. has been an International Trainer, Author and Mentor. She is known internationally for originating and developing the First International Home Study Mentoring Certification Program for Image Consultants worldwide. Dr. Joyce was the first consultant to be awarded Certified Image Master (AICI CIM) in 2000 from The Association of Image Consultants International and The Premier Association for Image Consultants Worldwide. She is an accredited member of DETC (Distance Education Training Commission) and is qualified to serve as a member of Accrediting Commissions Examining Committees appointed to examine and evaluate Distance Study Institutions. She holds the coveted distinction of earning the IMMIE (Image Makers Merit of Industry Excellence) Award in 2001, which is the most prestigious award in the Image Industry for Excellence in the Image Profession and she was also awarded The Award of Excellence for Education in 2004.

Dr. Joyce holds a Bachelors of Arts in Communications, Master of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Communications and a Ph.D. in Human Services and Psychology with an emphasis on self-image. She holds certifications in New Directions, Inc.; Myers-Briggs: MBTI, Inscape (DiSC) distributor and Innermetrix (Hartman Index) and Distance Education Training Council (DETC).
