Hilburn Men's Clothier Stylists are hosting a suit drive benefiting Bridges of America, a rehabilitation program that provides men a solid path for successful re-entry into the community and workplace, on Friday September 14, 2012 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Superman's Professional Grooming located at 165 South Orange Avenue. Anyone who donates gently used business attire the day of our main event will receive a free haircut voucher from Superman's Professional Grooming, a tax donation receipt, $20 off a custom shirt from J. Hilburn Men's Clothier, food samplings from Pine Twenty2, Bento and Cigars provided by Corona Cigar Bar.
"Our goal is to collect over 100 suits this year," said Christina Lawhorn, Style Advisor for J. Hilburn Men's Clothier. "Not only will the day of the event be a ton fun with live music, food from Pine Twenty2 and Bento, cigars from Corona Cigar Bar and a red carpet-like donation line, but we've also partnered with local businesses to have mini-pre donation events to ensure our goal is met."
These local businesses include 2nd Chance Foundation, Professional Opportunities Program for Students, The Umansky Law Firm, Gray Robinson, P.A., ProServe USA, UBS, Morgan & Morgan, Fields BMW, Waterstone Mortgage Corporation, Balloons by Debbie, and Boudoir Aficionado. Any local business is invited to participate in a mini pre-event drive at their local office and will receive the same gifts that are provided the day of the event.
