Triangle-Based Gym And Fitness Center To Host Ribbon Cutting At Its Third Raleigh Location

RALEIGH, NC, September 09, 2012 (Press-News.org) Rapid Fitness (http://www.rapidfitness.com), the Triangle's leading gym and fitness center, has announced that the gym will host the grand opening and ribbon cutting of its newest facility in downtown Raleigh, located at 800 N. Person St., on Saturday, Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. The event will feature entertainment including a live broadcast from Pulse 102, food and beverage vendors and a ribbon cutting featuring Raleigh Mayor Pro Tem Russ Stephenson. The downtown facility is the third Rapid Fitness center to open in Raleigh since the company launched its first gym in the Triangle in 2007. The others are located at 7101 Glenwood Ave. and 6150 Falls of Neuse Rd.

Rapid Fitness recently won the 2012 Metro Bravo Award for the best health club presented by Metro Magazine and was honored as one of the Triangle's 2012 Best Places to Work by Triangle Business Journal.
