How to Run a Kaizen Event.
Kaizen events are a proven problem solving approach to mapping processes, identifying inefficiencies and making improvements that yield better, faster and more consistent outputs. But not all Kaizen events are the same, and you have to know how to lead one to get good results. That's why BMGI offers this power-packed workshop, giving professionals the skills and tools they need for making rapid improvements many times over in different parts of their organization.
This one-day session is led by an experienced Lean master, who will share the concepts and tools needed to align operations with strategic objectives and remove waste from your processes.
After attending this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Lead waste-reducing Kaizen events using the results-driven SCORE methodology (Select-Clarify-Organize-Run-Evaluate), an industry-recognized and proven framework for getting results with Kaizen events.
- Choose the right Lean tool at the right moment during events.
- Create meaningful and realistic Kaizen event deliverables.
- Plan and deliver fast-paced events that are fun and engaging for all participants.
- Effectively capture and report on event results.
Plus, each participant will receive a copy of the step-by-step SCORE event guide, A Team Leader's Guide to Lean Kaizen Events, with Excel templates that they can use during their own Kaizen events.
Designed for process improvement professionals in any industry, this workshop will provide participants with the most possible value in the shortest possible time, right from the experts who have led hundreds of Kaizen events and taught hundreds of people how to run them successfully.
